This course is not a button-by-button introduction to Tekla. It develops engineering judgment from junior toward senior level, from reading project information through checking, fabrication and erection.
Real examples and practical exercises connect technical decisions, project responsibilities and communication. Senior-level capability grows through applying the work and building project experience, not through software commands alone.

Fabrication drawings

Layout setup plus beams, columns, rafters, angles, struts, twin columns, purlins, stairs, ladders, grating, handrails, cladding, sheeting and gutters.
Checking & release

Check the model and drawings, respond to red marks, manage revisions and resolve coordination issues before releasing the package.

Read the project information sheet, define the detailing scope and coordinate columns, rafters, bracing, purlins, girts, cladding and an access stair. Track revisions and approval milestones as the exercise develops.

Relate the model to GA, shop and single-part drawings, the bill of materials, bought-out items and NC files. Understand how checking and release decisions affect the fabrication handover.
